Great place very clean and comfortable the staff is amazing housekeeping is excellent I always visit the state of Maryland because of family members and this is the first time I stood at this location Sleep Inn & Suites Laurel Maryland 20707 and I will not stay anywhere else very accommodating close-by shopping centers great breakfast lots of smiles and hospitality take my advice I am a diamond member when choice and this is one of the best locations me and my family has ever stood not to mention a great pool Fitness Center Business Center great parking and very safe the general manager's name is KK and he will go above and beyond literally to help with anything needed .....shaun thompson
We left and got another hotel. I told the front desk why we were leaving and all she kept saying was "I am sorry." Lost our money but slept well in another clean and appreciative hotel.
Surprisingly poor condition and staff attitude for a Choice branded hotel. Stayed night of Dec 11. Hard to believe this location passes inspection.
I stay in Choice hotel 99% of my travel time, usually Sleep Inn as they are usually clean, comfortable and well priced.
Staff was borderline rude, barely acknowledging guests at check-in. Elevator's 1st floor button was dangling on wires back inside the control panel, and sign suggested passengers push the 2nd floor button and then walk down to first floor. Looking at reviews, it must have been this way for some time. General condition of the hotel was shabby, with obvious neglect of things that would be easy to fix. Room was not clean and no effort had been put in, even to wipe off easily removed stains on walls. Five minutes of my own efforts with a cloth made it a bit better, but I shouldn't have to clean my own room upon check-in.
Walked in, noticed the Lobby was dirty, pool completely cloud and the smell of chlorine was overpowering. (this means it is in desperate need of more chlorine). Elevator was 100 degrees with foul smell. Room one, black grim on the light switches, hair in the sinks and shower. Asked for second room no better than the first.
When we check out- this very uninterested women ask me " did you have a good stay?" I started to explain- she just turned away- so i didn't feel the need to complete the conversation to her back.
I will be staying here during the Thsnksgiving holiday. I have read the views and hope to have an awesome room . It seems like from reading the reviews some rooms are better than others as well as quiet. I expect one of those great, clean, quiet rooms during our stay. Looking forward to check in!

Upon check inn the clerk seemed lost, unfocused and uninterested and slow. The room, the floor smelled of smoke-and not cigarette ! The rug seemed like it was vacuumed in a straight line, as there were clubs and such beneath the chair and along side the bedside table. Mattress so uncomfortable-but the pillows were great! The cabinet that housed the refrigerator had a serious case of mold and rot in the bottom corner- my guess it leaks. There was what looked like exploded soda on the wall, in the sleeping area. The bathroom above the light fixtures has the beginnings of a mold/ so sort of funky growth. Some sort of spots in the tub -I rinsed them away so unsure what they were. The last thing is when the repainted this room, the arch way top was not painted.
I have pictures if you want the for the stuff in this review, of course except for the smelly room thing.
