Their quality of care for our chaotic canines is beyond reproach. From the front desk staff to the vets themselves, we have received excellent care, great comfort and wonderful advice and, when needed, a little sympathy to the cause.
Rocky Gorge helps us keep 3 dogs going strong, ranging from a 1.5 yr old wild-child to the 12 year old queen. They are always patient, available and tolerant, even when we aren't feeling the same.

What I've seen, Rocky Gorge just keeps getting better and better.
My son found an injured rabbit around 10 pm, by chance he found someone that lead him to Rocky Gorge. They were so kind, so wonderful. They took the rabbit in right away and after a quick exam got him on pain meds. The rabbit (exotic) doctor was due in at 2 am, and would examine him then. They called this morning to let us know that they had done x-rays, the rabbit had a shattered pelvis and had to be euthanized. When I asked if my son had already paid, they said there was no charge for a good Samaritan.
I am so impressed by this place. We'd never been before, and the fact that they did x-rays on an injured wild rabbit, and then didn't charge us, is incredible. What a wonderful place, what wonderful people all around.
This place is absolutely amazing. I'm here almost every two weeks due to my dog having a problem with his blood platelets and I'm sure I've dealt with everyone here. I love everyone. The staff at the front desk are so welcoming and sweet. They always give my dog attention! He loves it! The vets that have worked with me are blessings. They have worked so hard to help my dog and even my cat. When my dog first got sick, we were there for hours running lots of tests trying to figure out what was wrong, and the doctor never once showed that he didn't care. He was so determined to help my dog, and I could never thank him enough. He saved his life, and I'm so grateful. Everyone shows love to the animals and they show how much they really care. I'm amazed at how much they care! And I know that they will be here for me when the day comes that my dog must go, and I find relief knowing I can trust them. Everyone knows my dog, and everyone takes time to speak to us. I love love love this place. My mother takes all of her animals here as well. I have all the respect in the world for these guys and thank all of them for being so caring and amazing. I honestly wish I could get treated here when I'm sick! The vets and technicians were very kind and helpful to me when I had to bring my Precious to them. They explained everything to my husband and me. They helped with Precious' transition to the rainbow bridge and then Dr Tracy Applebain, and the other vets sent us a condolence card. Just want to say Thanks for their kindness
Update: Not long ago they assisted us in saying goodbye to one of our herd. Having helped us give her a very long and wonderful live, they then helped us to gently send her running the rainbow bridge. Their kindness and support made it easier for us to handle. Since then, they've helped us work through the grieving of the other two dogs. You'd have thought it was their own personal pet... Thank you, Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital.
Rocky Gorge has taken care of our dogs for over 20 years. The staff is friendly and helpful. The doctors are very kind and knowledgeable. We love Dr. Pasekoff. She loves our animals as much as we do and gives great care and advice. Also very helpful and sympathetic when it is time for your dog to go to Rainbow Heaven.
