Another situation that really bothered me was that before I got to the store, I had separated my three online orders in three different shopping bags hoping to make the return easier for the store associate and myself. So when I got to the cashier I placed one of the store's item on the edge of the corresponding bag where I had the exchanging item. Accidentally, the item fell inside the bag when I was doing the first return, so this same discourteous lady gave me more of her attitude when she saw that I took the item from the bag, IN FRONT OF HER. She asked me: "please don't do that again" with beautiful words, but in a mannerless tone (who on earth would show to the cashier an item they are trying to steal?). I felt ofended, but I apologized and explained that I had too many items and was trying to organize them, but she was rude enough to respond anything. She finished the returns and I thanked her for her help, again she was not responsive. Not to mention that in the whole time she did not try to be just a bit polite or at least welcoming. I guess she only treats nice customers who are buying merchandise, but not those who are returning. She does not know I have previously bought hundreds from her same store. And yes, I was out of her door by closing time. I am definitely not going back to this store. I would expect Carters to have a more professional -and not so bitter staff.
I like this Carter's it was a nice size because the Oshkosh Bgosh is connected to it. I usually go to the Carter's in Annapolis and Gambrills but I would come to this one again if I am on that side of town again.
My preferred Carter's branch. Always tidy and never crowded. The mall has excellent dining options.
Terrible staff in the front. Made me pack the staff myself in the box . I hope store manager reads this. This is a kids store in the end of the day!
I love Carters, BUT THIS STORE DOES NOT HAVE A GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I bought several items online and went to the store trying to exchange some of them. Unfortunately, I did not find most of those items in the size that I needed, so I had to return them. First of all, the associate (I think she is also the manager) asked me if I was returning ALL of those items with an attitude. She even asked her coworker what time it was, trying to hint me that it was almost closing time. She made the first return and I swiped my card, when instead I should had inserted the chip, so the machine kept asking me to do it again. When I asked her what was wrong (because I did not know) she responded "I don't know, I don't know what the machines asks you".
My wife sent me here to pick up some clothes for our granddaughter. They didn't have a large selection in the size I needed and I was about to leave without buying anything. Fortunately, the manager stopped and asked if I needed help. She was friendly and showed me that I was looking in the wrong place. She even helped me coordinate the outfits. I ended up buying six outfits that my granddaughter loved.
