We were seated right away, however we sat for 15 minutes with no acknowledgement from any of the numerous servers that walked pass the table. During those 15 minutes, a group that came in after us had received drinks/salad/bread along with an apology from the server for taking so long. Just as we were preparing to leave, I asked an employee who our waiter was. Her response, "that would be me", this same server had walked pass our table at least twice and said nothing. She claimed that she was unaware the table had been assigned to her. Whether that was truth or not, there is a management issue here. It's utterly ridiculous that no one asked if we had been waited on. I would not return to this location or recommend it.
I've only ever gotten takeout from here, which I highly recommend. No waiting for a table or on your food, just order online, grab and go. They check your order too, right there in front of you to make sure every piece of what you ordered is there. I really appreciate that since there's nothing worse than getting home and realizing they forgot something you were looking forward to. Good food and great service!
Mari was an excellent waitress. She served with a smile. It has been a very long time since I felt a wait person deserving of a 20% tip. Our glasses were never empty. Food was hot. Soup or salad at the moment requested. I was concerned about the 20 min wait to be seated but know I know why. One of my pet peeves is not having a paper napkins when eating, only the cloth ones, which are never absorbing enough for the condensation on the glasses. She brought them out without even asking. The team work that showed when other staff were helping take care of guests was refreshing. Columbia and now this location are our preferred locations to dine with Olive Garden. We purposefully drive father even though there is one 15 mins closer to our home for the better service. Manager keep up the great work!
Ordered food to go. It was ready on time and it was very good. Really just wanted to have the salad.
They told us it would be a 35 minute, it was only 10. Our waitress was wonderful and was on top of it when it came to the unlimited fresh batch of salad and breadsticks. I ordered the braised beef tortellini and my niece ordered chicken fettucini alfredo with a mashed potato side. My dish was delicious, hers was very very bland. We also ordered the cheese duo appetizer. The cheese was good but oily and the spinach artichoke dip was awful, we didn't even touch it after the first taste. Overall it's not my favorite but you walk out super stuffed.
