They are second only to Wegmans in selection and great merchandise quality. The staff is always friendly and happy to help.
Their wide and well lit space has a good selection and the values are usually pretty good. But, honestly, if you are looking for bargains across the board try shoppers or giant, they will have better prices.
Happy they opened in Laurel. My wife has special dietary restrictions and can not eat gluten. They have the best selection of gluten free foods. My kids love pizza but my wife cannot eat it. On my last trip I bought her their frozen gluten free pizza with a cauliflower crust. I can't taste the difference and she is happy she can eat pizza, again. Win win.
Came in to pick up a holiday dinner order when I received a text message stating it was ready for pick up. Came in and there was no order to pick up and they weren’t even tracking my order at all. As frustrating as it became the lady made the situation better by just asking what I ordered and got it prepared. She even threw in a pie for my frustration. Nice place with plenty of samples.
Harris Teeter is the nicest, cleanest, and fully functional grocery stores in the Laurel area.
The packing pot is a mess...however...the staff are wonderful...proactive and happy to help when needed..a nice change for Laurel in general...get the "VIC" card for the deals..it's free...the check out lines are a bit different...you will get used to them...they have a starbucks...pizza station ( can be made a la carte), bakery, deli (they make sandwiches to go/catering pick up)...cakes to order...meat monger...and knowledgeable/helpful pharmacy staff...overall way better experience than that off Giant or Safeway
Harris Teeter is my first stop for all my grocery needs. On top of being clean and extremely organized, the employees are both friendly and helpful. The VIC membership provides premium quality products as well. My family purchased the Harris Teeter brand ham, which costed us $18 with VIC compared to the other brand which was $42. Not to mention, my ham was also the most praised dish at the Thanksgiving potluck! Can't wait to make my next trip there and save $$$. You should make Harris Teeter your go to spot too!
