Ate here many times, and all but one was very satisfied. One of the times more recently we ordered burgers that we're not done, but when we let our waitress know, she handled it perfectly. Very professionally.
I have not been to a Hooters for about 8 years because the quality of the food was never enough to make it worth the trip. I decided that I would give them another chance as I was in the mood for a burger. I figured there's no way they can mess up a burger. I was wrong. They messed up basically three times. I ordered the build your own Burger. I asked for the beef pattty on Texas toast, bacon, pickles and yellow mustard. I explained that I am lactose intolerant and cannot have cheese. The server understood. When my burger came out it had all the ingredients I requested, but it also had a huge pile of grilled onions. I did not order onions because they give me terrible indigestion. I sent the burger back. That was their first mistake. Their second mistake was simply picking the grilled onions off of the burger and sending the same Burger out. It stank of grilled onions, which made me queasy. I sent the burger back again asking for it to be remade to my specifications. When the burger came out the third time it had all of the ingredients requested plus cheese and some kind of really hot sauce. I didn't send it back this time. I cancelled my order. I paid for the salad and drink that I had. I told the manager that they got serious problems and I'm never going to Hooters again. The server was very nice, but inexperienced. Also they did not have one of the beers on the menu that they said was on draft. It took about 15 minutes for them to figure that out. All in all I was at the Hooters in Laurel for over an hour and walked out hungry.
5 min. Later I'm told that is out. I ordered a Loose Cannon. The waitress confirmed they had that. 5 min.later I went to the bartender to get my beer after waiting 20 min. She said she was busy and the last beer order hadn't gone through yet. She then poured the beer straight into glass and filled with foam and walked away. Anyone knows that's makes the beer flat, so either they don't train their bartenders or she was doing it on purpose. I was not being a dick about I had to leave soon and I only had a short time for a beer. When I saw the pour I refused it and I left. I will never go back to this place again. I have been there many times. I live in the town. Oh well!
Standard Hooters food. Hostesses were very nice. We had a large party and everyone was fed in a reasonable timeframe.
I got there at half time to meet three friends who were already there waiting on food. I ordered a Yeungling. 10 min. Later I was told they're out of Yeungling. I ordered an EVO 3.
Obviously best wings ever! I felt cheated on my "alcoholic " beverage tasting like juice that I had to order a shot of Whiskey after. Theresa our waitress was great!
